Information We Collect
Our web server does not automatically recognize information regarding the domain or email address of a Visitor to the Snap Ecommerce web site. When you interact with our web site, we collect email addresses from Visitors, only when volunteered, through either a sign-up for the Service, or other means of communication. In these volunteer cases, we may collect information about you including but not limited to your name, address, and telephone number, in addition to your email address. Communications sent to Customers via email are pertinent to their specific account. Snap Ecommerce sends important information to current Customers as the primary means of communication regarding accounts. Customers with active Snap Ecommerce accounts must continue to receive these important communications, and can opt out of receiving only the promotional emails outlined above.
Snap Ecommerce does not store any credit card information during or after sign-up of the Services, with the exception of the last four digits of a Customer’s credit card, viewable only to the Customer, and never the public, for their reference. Credit card information is not required until a Customer completes a sign-up for Services. Any information collected from you and about you is used within the context of providing our services to you. The information we collect is not shared with, sold or rented to others except under certain circumstances and which your use of the Service is deemed to provide us a valid consent to disclose the following:
- Snap Ecommerce may share personal information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Snap Ecommerce’s Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law.
